Vision technology recognises the colour of materials. Captors detect the levels of Red; Green and Blue (RGB) present in each object and sorts them by colour family and according to the client’s criteria. This technology is often used in PET recycling.

This system is particularly well suited to sorting plastic materials by colour. 



It can also be used to sort other materials as:

 

• paper and cardboards by detecting the surface of brown colours, hardly presents in beverages, from gray colours, presents in newspapers
• electronic cards (epoxy) present in WEEE stream mostly in green colour
