The High Resolution Near Infra-Red technology developed by Pellenc ST allows materials to be sorted from each other. It detects the spectrum of the objects on the belt and recognises the composition of each material. An upgradeable software application allows for the identification of new materials.

- classic plastics by polymer : PET, HDPE, PP, PS, PELD, PVC ...
- technical plastics: ABS, ABS/PVC, ABS/PC, HIPS, PC...
- fibrous materials: ELA, paper and cardboard...
The distance between the detection and ejection points is deliberately very close so as to avoid errors resulting from the trajectory of objects on the conveyor belt.
