Test Facilities Center
Pellenc ST has a 200m² Test Centre specifically for carrying out client tests.
PST has created a test centre specifically for performing client tests and demonstrations, offering all its latest sorting technologies developed in-house on one site.
A 1200mm machine (work length) with full options and a capacity of 4 tonnes/hour sorts plastic packaging, paper, and mixed cartons using both detection technologies: Vision and Near-Infrared, allowing the detection and sorting by colour and by material on the same machine. Another 800mm sorting machine (work length) uses high-resolution Near-Infrared technology sorts new sorts of waste such as WEEE, ELV and other waste made up of small fraction complex polymers with particles of less than 1cm². This machine is also used for energy recovery uses such as purifying refuse derived fuel streams.
The sorting capacity of this new demonstration centre is approximately 7 tonnes/hour.
Clients are invited to the centre to see Pellenc ST machines being demonstrated. For clients unable to come in person the testing team asks those who are interested to send a sample stream and test are carried out on the sorting machine under real conditions. The results of this test are available within 1 week at the latest and are placed on a secure area of our intranet that the only the client can access using a password.
