Pellenc ST has its own R&D department, composed of a team of ten people working uniquely on the development of new technologies and applications for sorting all sorts of material. The company is also expanding into other applications than waste sorting.

The team works closely with research laboratories such as:

 

• CEMAGREF: Research Centre for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. 
• EMA, Alès Mines School, for the Research Centre for Mass Market Materials.
• Numerous projects financed by the ADEME (Agency for the Environment and Energy Management)

The department’s strength resides in its team of highly qualified, versatile engineers. Electrical and electronic engineering, IT, optics and mechanics means that it is possible to design in-house entire detection systems for the optical sorting machines.

In developing new models the teams work closely with the clients on their sites in real operating conditions.
