Sorting Solutions for the Plastics and Metals Recycling Industries in selected markets

Recycling markets are more and more demanding on material quality under the influence of various drivers such as the European Circular Economy Package or the situation with the Chinese import ban: as a result, most market players recognize optical sorting as one of the key enablers of the circular economy.

In this context, and to respond to a fast-paced market growth, Pellenc ST and Sesotec GmbH have recently concluded a new partnership to complement their market and product portfolio. This agreement covers the distribution of flake sorting equipment for plastics recycling applications in France, Japan and the UK and sensor-based sorting equipment for End-of-Life Vehicles, Metal scrap and the WEEE-recycling markets in France and Japan. For the other territories and for other waste sorting applications, new opportunities will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

The communication between the teams from Pellenc ST and Sesotec have highlighted common values, a similar product and technology approach and a true complementarity that will allow to jointly strengthen their positions. It also represents the start of a new and solid French-German industrial partnership that will be enriching for both companies and that will continue to evolve, step-by-step, based on future opportunities.

Michael Perl, Head of Sorting Recycling for Sesotec indicates: “With more than 50 years of combined experience in the waste and recycling market, we decided to pool the state of the art of our sorting technologies to satisfy ever-growing quality standards”. And Jean Henin, President of Pellenc ST, concludes: “This exciting partnership will enable to provide to our customers complete sorting solutions and to give them better guidance”.

The ultimate common goal is to propose the best of their product and technology offerings, in order to meet the markets needs of today and tomorrow.
