New Production Centre
Pellenc ST doubles its capacity
With more than 50% growth in 2022, Pellenc ST has invested in its infrastructure by building a new Production Centre.
More than 300 machines were produced in 2022, the production capacity of the existing facility had reached its limits and could no longer keep up with Pellenc ST’s growth.
The French mid-cap company has provided itself with the means to achieve its ambitions by building a new production centre. The goal: Expand and modernise our production capabilities to address the growing needs of the recycling industry for intelligent sorting equipment.
“We remain committed to producing in France at our headquarters in Pertuis, but we were beginning to feel cramped in our existing production facility. These new production areas of more than 2,000m² therefore enable us to double our production capacity and address orders on an industrial scale,” comments Jérôme de Wolf, Operations Director at Pellenc ST.
This new production centre is part of a global development project for Pellenc ST. The stated ambition is to double the company’s workforce and reach a turnover of €110 million by 2025. In this context, the development and modernisation of Pellenc ST’s industrial areas represent an overall investment of €30 million (2018 – 2025). This translates into the construction of 4,000 m2 of premises divided into 3 units of 1,000 m2 to 2,000 m2 each. Following the inauguration of its Innovation Centre in June 2022, the Production Centre is the second stage of this large-scale development project
These new buildings will be completed in 2023 with the expansion of the Testing and Training Centre to create a true experience pathway for its customers and partners.
The final objective is to accompany operators and industrialists in their search for improved performance and together build a 4.0 circular recycling industry.
This project benefited from State aid as part of the France Stimulus Plan, with the support of Bpifrance, the South Region, Territoires d’industrie and the Regions of France.
