inaugurates its new Test Centre
After a successful 2022 year, Pellenc ST inaugurates its new Test Centre in Australia and continues to assert its international position.
On 31st October 2023, Pellenc ST will open a new Test Centre in Australia (Southwest Sydney).
In the coming months, the company will also be moving and upgrading its French, Japanese and
American Test Centres as well as other new test facilities planned.
Confirming its position in Australia & New Zealand
Pellenc ST sold its first machine in Australia in 2018.
Since then, Pellenc ST has continued to expand in
this territory, with more than 90 machines now in
operation and a dedicated local team to provide
high-quality service and technical support. As part of
this local approach, Pellenc ST has decided to open
a Test Centre in Australia to meet the growing
demands for industrial testing and provide
opportunities for the recycling industry to learn what
additional value could be extracted in Australia and
New Zealand.
With this new facility, Pellenc ST provides its
customers with a 660sqm industrial demonstrator
site with the latest intelligent sorting equipment. A full
package Mistral+ CONNECT is now available to
study the best sorting strategies and ensure the
quality of the sorted streams.

The Test Centre is also available for trade associations and recycling associations to study different sorting alternatives on ever more complex materials.

An inauguration in the presence of Australian clients and partners
The inauguration will take place on Tuesday 31st October 2023 in the company of Pellenc ST’s Australian
clients, partners, and employees. Some members of the French teams also made the trip for the occasion.
The program included a plenary presentation, market overview, customer testimonials, a tour of the new
premises and live demonstrations before informal conversation and pleasantries over lunch.
Deploying its international presence to provide localised service
With 2,500 machines installed in more than 40 countries, Pellenc ST is the leader in France and one of the key players in the international market. To strengthen its presence, the company is pursuing its development throughout the world to provide closely adapted support to players in the circular economy.
“The opening of the Australian Test Centre will be quickly followed by the relocation and upgrading of our Japanese and American Test Centres by 2024. The aim is to increase proximity to our clients and enable them to benefit from our latest technologies directly on their territory,” concludes Jean Henin, President of Pellenc ST.
